The 5 Best Rated Walk In Shower Companies Piney Point Village Homeowners Compare, Ranked by the Waterproofing System That Goes In Behind the Tile
This ranking is published by Cascade Showerworks. We are on it and we are first on it, so we are going to show you the criteria, then spend most of this page teaching you enough about waterproofing that you can grade all five of us yourself.
If you are searching for the best rated walk in shower companies Piney Point Village has access to, you are about to compare five sets of nearly identical photographs. Every company on this page can show you a beautiful finished shower.
None of those photographs show the part that fails. A walk-in shower is a waterproofing assembly with tile glued to it, and the assembly either has a manufacturer, a name, and an ANSI A118.10 test report behind it, or it has a guy with a bucket and a roller.
We will get back to you as soon as possible.

How We Ranked the Walk-In Shower Companies Serving Piney Point Village
Piney Point Village is 2.1 square miles of large wooded lots inside its own incorporated municipality, and the housing stock is split between 1950s through 1970s ranch homes on slab and the custom replacements going up where those ranches used to stand. That combination means a shower job here is almost never a simple insert swap, so we weighted this ranking toward the things that decide whether a custom shower survives twenty years in Gulf Coast humidity.
We put ourselves on the list — and first
This ranking is published by Cascade Showerworks. We are on the list, and we are first on it, so the fair thing to do is show you exactly what we measured and let you check every claim yourself.

Specialization Only
We did not rank on advertising spend, showroom size, or how many services a company offers. The focus is exclusively on the quality of the shower build.

Call (346) 678-4776The 5 Best Rated Walk In Shower Companies Piney Point Village Can Call, Side by Side
Read this table for scope and structure, not for a winner. A company built to set an acrylic unit in one day is a poor fit for a 1960s ranch bath being opened up, and a custom tile crew is an expensive answer to a guest bath that needs a clean replacement. There is no single best walk in shower company Piney Point Village can point to for every job. There is a best fit for your scope, and the table below is built to help you find it before you sit through five sales appointments.

Every address, phone number and website in this comparison is reproduced in the company sections below exactly as the business publishes it, checked in September 2026.

Call (346) 678-4776Waterproofing Systems Compared by Name and By Standard, Because This Is What Ruins an Expensive Shower
There are four real waterproofing assemblies used in residential showers, plus one product that gets sold as a fifth and is not one. Every company on this page uses one of them. Most will not name it until you ask.
Bonded sheet membrane
A fleece-backed polyethylene sheet set into thinset over the substrate, with preformed inside corners, outside corners, and pipe seals. Because the sheet is manufactured at a fixed thickness, the waterproofing layer is the same 8 mils in the corner behind the valve as it is in the middle of the wall.
That consistency is the whole point. Sheet membrane removes the installer from the thickness equation, which is why it is the default for curbless work and for anything with a bench in it.
Liquid-applied membrane and the mil thickness nobody measures
A liquid membrane is rolled or troweled on, usually in a color that fades as it cures so the installer can see coverage. It is fast, it wraps complicated geometry, and it is the most commonly abused product in the trade.
The reason is thickness. These products are rated by coverage rate, not by how it looks. Custom Building Products publishes RedGard at roughly 80 square feet per gallon per coat to meet ANSI A118.10, with a minimum of two coats and a wet film thickness that should not exceed 40 mils in any single coat. Laticrete publishes its 9235 membrane at about 100 square feet per gallon per coat at 15 to 22 wet mils, with three coats for full waterproofing.
One heavy coat is not two thin ones. A single pass that looks solid can cure to half the required dry film, and it will pass a visual inspection every time. A crew that carries a wet film gauge and works to a published coverage rate is telling you something about how the rest of the job gets built.
Foam board systems
Extruded polystyrene panels with a waterproof coating and a cementitious facing, used as both the substrate and the membrane. Wall panels, curbs, benches, niches and sloped pans all come from the same system, and the seams get sealed with the manufacturer band and sealant.
The assembly is light, dimensionally stable, and it does not carry water into the framing the way a saturated mortar bed does. For a Piney Point primary bath being reworked over a slab, foam board is a strong answer where headroom or floor height is tight.
Traditional mortar bed with a PVC or CPE liner
The oldest system on the list and still a code-recognized one. A sloped mortar bed goes down first, a PVC or CPE liner lies over it and clamps into a three-piece drain, then a second mortar bed goes on top and gets tiled.
Built correctly it lasts decades. Built without the first slope it is a bathtub inside your floor, which is the subject of the next section.
Cement board is a substrate, not a waterproofer
This is the single most common misunderstanding in shower construction. Cement backer board is dimensionally stable and it does not rot, and it is not waterproof. Water passes through it.
Cement board is what you fasten to the studs so a membrane has something to bond to. If a contractor answers the waterproofing question with the phrase cement board and nothing after it, that is the whole answer, and it is not one.
ANSI A118.10 and what tested actually means
ANSI A118.10 is the American National Standard for load-bearing bonded waterproof membranes used under ceramic tile. A membrane that conforms has been laboratory tested for waterproofness, for shear bond strength to tile in wet and dry conditions, for fungus and microorganism resistance, for dimensional stability, and for its ability to bridge a moving crack.
The words that matter are conforms to ANSI A118.10, tied to a specific product name and a specific test report. Meets industry standards, waterproof, and premium mean nothing. Ask for the product data sheet, and note the standard printed on it.

1. Cascade Showerworks: The Shower-Only Specialist Closest to Piney Point Village
Cascade Showerworks installs showers and nothing else. No kitchens, no floors, no whole-house remodels, no vanity carpentry unless it touches the shower. That constraint is the entire argument. A crew that sets showers every working day builds the waterproofing the same way on Tuesday as it did on Friday, and the failures on this page are all failures of variation.

What Cascade Showerworks Does
Who Cascade Is Right For in Piney Point Village
Owners who want the shower done properly and want the bathroom back. If your project is a full gut with cabinetry, flooring, and a relocated wall, a general remodeler is the correct call and we will tell you so.
Cascade is the right call when the shower is the project: a failing 1970s pan, a tub nobody has used in nine years, a primary bath that needs a barrier-free entry before a knee replacement, or a guest bath that has to look like the rest of a newly built custom home.
How Cascade installs — step by step
Step 1 of 5

Every job is specified in writing first: size, threshold type, drain type, waterproofing system by manufacturer name, surface, glass, and valve. Nothing gets torn out before that document exists. Crews are certified W2 employees, not a rotating subcontractor roster, which matters more in Piney Point than almost anywhere in Harris County, because the village requires registered contractors and inspects the work itself. Pricing is one flat written number with no surprise change orders, backed by a lifetime transferable warranty that follows the house to the next owner. Cascade is A+ BBB rated and 4.9 star Google rated across 30-plus verified reviews.
The Honest Caveat
Cascade will not remodel the rest of your bathroom. If you want one contract covering the shower, the vanity, the flooring, the paint, and the lighting, we are the wrong company and one of the full-scope remodelers below is a better fit.

What They Do Well
Scope breadth. If your Piney Point bath needs the shower rebuilt and the cabinetry, counters and layout reworked in the same contract, a design-build shop handles that coordination in a way a specialist does not.
Their published material emphasizes solid surface shower systems and accessibility work, and the company profile centers on a single owner-operator rather than a franchise territory. Their site displays a BBB A+ rating and EPA Lead-Safe certification; confirm both directly with the issuing bodies before you rely on them.
Who Should Call Them
The Honest Caveat
A company that builds whole bathrooms is not building showers all day, and its shower crew competes for calendar time against cabinet installs and countertop templates. Ask which waterproofing assembly is going into your specific shower, by manufacturer name, and ask whether the pan gets flood tested before tile.

What They Do Well
Process and product consistency. A franchise system standardizes selections, sequencing and manufactured components, which is why the timelines are predictable in a way custom tile work rarely is.
The Houston location page publishes a Texas plumbing license number, which is more license disclosure than most bath remodelers put on a location page, and the company advertises a warranty with a one-time transfer. Verify the license number and the warranty terms in writing before you sign.

The Honest Caveat
Manufactured systems hide what is behind them. A molded surround over a wall assembly is only as good as the wall assembly, and the waterproofing detail behind a proprietary product is generally not published. Ask specifically what happens if demolition uncovers a wet subfloor or a rotted stud bay under an old Piney Point pan, and get the answer in writing before demolition.

What They Do Well
Speed and low maintenance. An acrylic system has no grout, cleans with a cloth, and can be installed in a day or two on the right scope. In a rental, a pool bath, or a secondary bath in a large Piney Point home, that is a rational trade.
Who Should Call Them
The Honest Caveat
An acrylic system installed over an existing assembly can cover a problem instead of fixing it. If the old pan leaked, the substrate under it is wet, and a new panel over wet material is a timer. Insist that the existing pan comes out, that the substrate is inspected dry, and that you see it before the new system goes in.

What They Do Well
They name their products. EZ Bath publishes its brand partners, and the list includes Kerdi waterproofing alongside Onyx Collection surfaces and Delta trim. A company willing to name the membrane manufacturer on its own website is giving you something to verify, and most in this category do not.
Their site also lists an A+ BBB rating and Angi Super Service Awards. Those are the company self-reporting, so check the current status with BBB and Angi directly rather than taking the badge at face value.
Who Should Call Them
The Honest Caveat
Tomball to Piney Point Village is a long haul across the northwest side of the metro, and drive time shows up as scheduling friction on punch items and warranty calls. Their published warranty language separates a limited labor and installation warranty from the manufacturers product warranties, so read both documents and find out who you call in year six.

Call (346) 678-4776Bonded Flange Drains, Clamping Ring Drains, the 24-Hour Flood Test, and Mixed Systems
The drain is not a plumbing fixture in a modern shower. It is part of the waterproofing assembly, and picking the wrong one for your membrane is how two correct products make one wrong shower.
Clamping ring drains
The three-piece drain that goes with a mortar bed liner. The liner drapes into it, a ring bolts down and clamps the liner between two flanges, and the weep holes let water off the liner into the drain body.
The TCNA Handbook covers this as a water in and water out assembly. It works. It depends completely on the pre-slope and the weep holes staying clear, and both of those are invisible after the second mortar bed goes in.
Bonded flange drains
A drain with a bondable flange surface designed so a sheet or liquid membrane adheres directly to it, forming one continuous waterproof plane from the wall down to the drain body. No weep holes, because there is no liner cavity to drain.
This is what the TCNA Handbook covers as the bonding flange method. It is the correct drain for bonded membrane systems and it is the one we specify for curbless work, because a curbless entry has to catch water at a threshold linear drain and cannot afford a second internal water path.
The 24-hour flood test
Plug the drain. Fill the pan to a marked line just below the top of the curb or the threshold. Mark the water level. Come back a day later and look at the mark.
The residential code requires a water tightness test on a shower receptor filled to the rough threshold. The trade standard, and ours, is a full 24 hours, and the reason is duration. A 15 minute test finds a hole. A 24 hour test finds a seam that seeps, which is the failure that actually shows up in year three.
A company that will not flood test is telling you something, and it is not that it is confident. It is telling you the pan is going to be covered in tile before anyone finds out whether it holds water. Ask the question during the estimate, not on demolition day.
Movement joints at every change of plane
Tile moves. Substrates move. Houston slabs sit on expansive clay that swells and shrinks with the season, and Piney Point is not exempt from that just because the lots are an acre.
The TCNA guideline for movement joints, EJ171, calls for a flexible joint at every change of plane and at every transition to a dissimilar material. In a shower that means the inside corners, the wall-to-floor junction, the perimeter of a bench, the niche corners, and the tile-to-curb transition all get sealant, not grout.
Grout in a corner is a hairline crack with a schedule. When it opens, water gets past the tile faster than the assembly was designed for, and then everything depends on the membrane you never verified.
Mixing systems from different manufacturers voids both warranties
Nearly every membrane manufacturer warrants a system, not a product. The membrane, the corners, the pipe seals, the sealant, the bonding flange drain, and in some cases the thinset all have to come from that manufacturer for the warranty to stand.
A bonded sheet from one brand and a drain from another rarely have a tested bond at the flange, and that joint is exactly where water goes. When it fails, the membrane maker points at the drain maker and the drain maker points back, and you own it.
- Ask which manufacturer the membrane, corners, pipe seals and drain all come from, and expect one name.
- Ask whether the thinset and sealant are part of that manufacturer system, because on some warranties they are.
- Ask who registers the warranty, and whether registration requires an installer credential your crew actually holds.
- Ask for the product data sheet showing ANSI A118.10 conformance, printed, before you sign.
- Ask whether the drain is a bonding flange or a clamping ring, and confirm it matches the membrane type.
- Ask for the flood test to be written into the contract as a hold point before tile, with a duration on it.
Pre-Slope and Weep Holes: Why a Pan Built Wrong Fails No Matter how Good the Tile Is
We tear out more showers that failed at the pan than showers that failed anywhere else. The tile is almost never the problem, and the tile is almost always what gets blamed.
The pre-slope
In a mortar bed pan, the liner is not the top of the assembly. Water goes through grout, through the tile setting bed, and reaches the liner. Once it is there, the liner has to move it to the drain.
So the mortar under the liner has to already be sloped, at a minimum of 1/4 inch per foot toward the drain, before the liner ever goes down. That first slope is the pre-slope, and it is the step that gets skipped because nobody can see it afterward.
A liner laid flat on a Piney Point slab holds every drop that reaches it. The mortar bed above stays saturated, the grout stays damp, the smell arrives before the stain, and the tile looks fine the entire time.
The weep holes
A clamping ring drain has small weep holes in the base of the clamping collar. Those holes are how water sitting on the liner gets into the drain. They are the only path it has.
They get packed with mortar constantly. The correct detail is to protect them, traditionally with pea gravel or a purpose-made protector, before the top mortar bed goes in. Skip that and the pan is sealed shut with a slow drip filling it.
What failure looks like in this housing stock
- Grout at the base of the wall that never dries, in the same two feet, month after month.
- A musty smell in a bathroom that is otherwise clean, strongest in the morning after overnight evaporation.
- Loose or hollow-sounding floor tile near the drain, tapped with a coin, from a saturated bed losing bond.
- Dark or cupped wood flooring on the far side of the shower wall in a 1960s ranch with an original slab.
- Efflorescence, a white mineral bloom in grout joints, which means water is moving through the assembly and evaporating out the face.
- A ceiling stain below an upstairs bath, which in a two-story Piney Point home is usually the pan and not the supply lines.
Acrylic, Solid Surface, or Tile: What Belongs in A Piney Point Village Bathroom
This is a resale and maintenance decision as much as a design one. A Piney Point primary bath sets a buyer expectation that a molded acrylic unit will not meet, and a pool bath does not need stone.
Where grout actually costs you
Grout is not waterproof and was never meant to be. It is a filler that lets a tile field move without spalling, and it is porous by design, which is why the membrane behind it carries the water.
The maintenance question is different from the waterproofing question. A grout joint needs periodic sealing and it shows soap film. A seamless panel does not. Neither fact tells you anything about what is behind the surface.
Memorial Villages water and what it does to your glass
Piney Point Village is served by Memorial Villages Water Authority on purchased surface water. The authority has reported average total hardness around 103 ppm as calcium carbonate, roughly 6 grains per gallon, in a range of about 83 to 124 ppm.
That is moderately hard, not the well-water hardness some of the outer Harris County suburbs deal with. Practically it means the film on your glass here is mostly soap and silica rather than heavy scale, and a factory-applied protective coating plus a squeegee keeps it clear without chemicals.

Call (346) 678-4776Walk in Shower Cost Piney Point Village: Real 2026 Houston Market Numbers
Current Houston market data puts a shower remodel at an average near $6,900 with a typical range of roughly $1,970 to $8,870, and a walk-in shower specifically at about $5,920 to $11,830. Tub to shower conversions average near $2,960 in Houston, with custom tiled conversions reported from $4,000 up to $18,000.
Piney Point Village lands at the upper end of those ranges, and there are reasons that have nothing to do with the zip code. Primary baths in this housing stock are larger, scopes are more custom, the village charges its own permit and plan review fees, and the site logistics on a wooded acre lot cost real hours.
What drives a Piney Point number above the Houston average
- Bigger footprints. A 42 by 60 or 48 by 60 primary shower in a Memorial-area home has 40 to 80 percent more waterproofing and tile area than a 36 by 60 alcove.
- Original 1950s to 1970s construction. Cast iron waste lines, galvanized supply, and unknown conditions behind a fifty-year-old pan get discovered at demolition.
- Village permitting. Piney Point issues its own permits and charges its own fees rather than routing through the City of Houston.
- Access. Long private drives, mature tree canopy, and required tree protection fencing mean material gets carried, not backed up to the door.
- Custom selections. Large-format porcelain, stone slab, low-iron frameless glass and thermostatic valve packages are the norm here, not the upgrade.
- Curbless conversions. Recessing a slab or reworking a floor structure for a barrier-free entry is structural work with its own inspection.

Estate Lot Access, Discretion, and Matching the Stone Already in The House
Two things get contractors fired in River Oaks that have nothing to do with waterproofing: how they behave on the property, and what the new stone looks like next to the old stone.

Access is a real constraint on an estate lot
Big lot does not mean easy access. Circular drives, protected live oaks, gated motor courts, narrow service entrances, and pea gravel that a loaded van will rut are the norm here. Many of the original houses put the primary bath at the top of a staircase that was designed in 1930 for people, not for a 48 by 96 glass panel weighing over 200 pounds.
That panel has to be walked in by hand. Measure the stair turn, the door swings, and the ceiling clearance before the glass is ordered, because a panel that cannot make the turn is a full refabrication cycle, not an adjustment.
Jobsite conduct is part of the scope
- One vehicle, parked where you were told to park it — not three trucks staged across a neighbor's frontage.
- Floor protection from the entry to the bathroom, on every surface the crew crosses, every day.
- Background-checked W2 employees, because a rotating subcontract roster is a security question in a house with staff and cameras.
- A single point of contact, so the household is not fielding calls from four trades.
- No radios, no unnecessary noise, and defined work hours agreed before the first day.
- Debris removed daily, not accumulated in the drive until Friday.
- Discretion about the house and the owner, including no photography without written permission and no signage in the yard.
That last one is not decorative. River Oaks does not permit For Sale signs, and a contractor yard sign reads exactly the same way to the neighborhood. No signage means no signage.
Matching new work to existing marble and stone
The 1920s and 1930s baths in River Oaks were built with marble from quarries and blocks that no longer exist. Carrara, Tennessee pink, Alabama white, and unlabeled European material all show up. Nothing new will match a 95 year old slab exactly, because stone varies block to block even inside a single quarry.
So you pick a strategy before you pick a slab.
Permits, the Village Building Official, and Getting a Crew Down a Piney Point Drive
This is where a lot of Houston bath remodelers stumble in the Memorial Villages, and it is worth being precise about it.
Piney Point Village is its own city
Piney Point Village incorporated in 1955 as a Type A general-law municipality with an alderman form of government, covering about 2.1 square miles inside Harris County. It is not part of the City of Houston and it does not use City of Houston permitting.
The village runs its own planning, development and permits function. The city construction packets name the Director of Planning, Development and Permits as the building official.
- City Hall
- 7660 Woodway, Suite 460, Houston, TX 77063 · 713-782-0271
- Building official
- bldgofficial@pineypt.org · (713) 782-1757
- Permits office
- 7676 Woodway Dr, Suite 300
What the village actually requires
- Contractor registration. The city construction packets require contractors to register with a copy of the state license, a driver license, and general liability insurance with a $500,000 minimum, plus a $60 registration fee that does not apply to electrical, fire sprinkler and plumbing contractors.
- Plan review time. The major remodeling packet instructs applicants to allow up to two weeks for plan review, which is calendar time your project has to absorb.
- Drainage and tree approval first. Drainage and tree disposition approval must be granted before a construction permit is issued, and Piney Point works with a village arborist because the tree canopy is the point of living here.
- Memorial Villages Water Authority sign-off appears on the city major remodeling checklist, because MVWA is the water provider for the village.
- Neighbor notification. The major remodeling packet includes notification letters to residents within 200 feet, which is a real timeline item on a large-lot street.
- Site staging. The construction packets call for a document and permit box, a screened portable toilet, metal trash dumpsters, tree protection fencing, temporary drainage and inlet protection at the site.
Fees published by the city
Those amounts come from the fee schedule published by the City of Piney Point Village in a file dated January 2026. Verify current figures and current packet requirements with the permits office before you budget them, and note that construction hours in the city packets run 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, with no work on Sundays or holidays.
The access problem nobody quotes for
Piney Point permits single-family homes on 40,000 square foot lots, with smaller lots grandfathered. That means long private drives, mature pines and oaks over them, and a lot of distance between where a truck can park and where the bathroom is.
- Material gets carried. A pallet of large-format porcelain does not go up a 250 foot drive on a hand truck in one trip.
- Dumpster placement is a tree decision, and tree protection fencing goes up before the first load leaves the house.
- Floor protection runs the full path, not just the bathroom, because the route crosses finished floors in a finished house.
- Glass templating is a second trip down that same drive, 7 to 14 days after tile, and it cannot be compressed.
- Two-story homes add a stair carry for every mortar bag, panel and glass panel on the job.
- Inspection scheduling has to be coordinated with a gate, a code, or a person who is home, which is why a local crew beats a cross-metro one on a punch list.
We are registered to work in the village and handle the permit, the plan review, and the tree and drainage sign-offs.

Searching walk in shower companies near me from a Piney Point address returns a map pack full of companies based 25 to 40 minutes away in every direction. Distance is not a vanity metric on a shower project. It is warranty response time. The same is true for a shower remodel Piney Point Village TX search, which mixes handymen, national franchises, general remodelers and shower specialists into one list of nearly identical map pins. The pin does not tell you which one builds the pan.
Cascade Showerworks operates from 1800 Sherwood Forest St C-1A in Houston, 77043, which is a short run down the Katy Freeway corridor and across into the villages. Walk-In Shower Questions Piney Point Village Homeowners Ask
10 of the questions Piney Point Village homeowners ask us most often. Costs, permits, and structural standards — all answered straight, with the actual numbers.
Usually yes. Piney Point Village is its own incorporated city with its own permit office, so the work does not go through City of Houston permitting. A shower project that moves a drain, changes a valve, or alters the floor structure triggers a plumbing permit, listed at $300 for a remodel under 2,500 square feet on the city fee schedule, and larger scopes can add electrical permit and plan review fees. Your contractor should be registered with the village and should pull the permit, not you.
The city handles its own inspections through its planning, development and permits function, with the building official contact published on the city construction packets. A residential re-inspection is listed at $75 on the city fee schedule, and starting work before a permit is issued carries a $300 minimum penalty fee. That is a strong argument for hiring a company that has been through the village process rather than one that only works City of Houston jobs.
Houston market data puts walk-in showers at roughly $5,920 to $11,830 and shower remodels at an average near $6,900. Piney Point projects generally run above those figures because the baths are larger, the housing stock is older, the selections are more custom, and the village charges its own permit and plan review fees. Plan on roughly $9,500 to $16,000 for a tiled conversion in an existing alcove and $19,000 to $32,000 for a curbless primary shower.
The best system is the one installed correctly by a crew that installs it constantly. Bonded sheet membrane gives the most consistent thickness and is our default for curbless work and complex geometry. Liquid-applied membrane is fine when it goes on at the published coverage rate in the required number of coats. Foam board is excellent where floor height is tight. The wrong answer is any assembly nobody will name.
It is the American National Standard for load-bearing bonded waterproof membranes under ceramic tile. A conforming product has been lab tested for waterproofness, bond strength to tile wet and dry, fungus resistance, dimensional stability and crack bridging. Asking whether the membrane conforms to ANSI A118.10 turns a marketing claim into a document, and it is the single most useful question a homeowner can ask a shower contractor.
Yes, and it costs one day. Plug the drain, fill the pan to the rough threshold, mark the level, and read it the next morning. A short test finds an outright hole. A 24 hour test finds a slow seam, which is the failure that actually shows up three years later as a musty guest bath. A company that will not flood test before tile is choosing not to know.
Yes, and most of the village housing stock is slab-on-grade, so this is the common case. The slab gets saw-cut and recessed about 1.5 to 2 inches inside the shower footprint so the pan holds its 1/4 inch per foot pitch and still finishes flush. Budget roughly $1,800 to $4,500 for the slab work on top of the shower itself, plus inspection time for the structural portion.
Somewhat. Memorial Villages Water Authority reports average total hardness around 103 ppm as calcium carbonate, roughly 6 grains per gallon, on purchased surface water. That is moderately hard, so most of what clouds glass here is soap film and silica rather than heavy scale. A factory-applied protective coating on the glass and a squeegee handle it without chemical cleaners that would etch a stone surface.
A manufactured system replacement in an existing alcove runs one to three days. A tiled tub to shower conversion Piney Point Village homeowners typically request runs 10 to 15 working days. A curbless primary shower runs 20 to 30 working days. Two windows cannot be compressed by anyone: the 24 hour flood test, and 7 to 14 days of frameless glass fabrication after the tile is templated.
It is a logistics line item, not a problem. On a 40,000 square foot Piney Point lot the truck parks where tree protection allows and material gets carried in on protected flooring. What matters is that the company plans for it in the estimate rather than discovering it on demolition morning, and that tree protection fencing and drainage protection are staged the way the village construction packets require.
